About
I am a professor of civil and environmental engineering at Rutgers University. My work focuses on how water moves through natural and built environments, with research and teaching spanning stormwater, hydrology, hydraulics, estuarine processes, watershed systems, and integrated water and urban infrastructure.
This website provides an overview of selected research contributions, educational activities, and written materials developed over the course of my career.
Research Contributions
My research spans several areas, including urban stormwater and green infrastructure, hydraulics and hydrology, estuarine processes, watershed studies, and integrated systems such as the Green–Grey–Blue–Smart (GGBS) framework.
Reflections & Synthesis
Occasional notes and distillations drawn from past and ongoing work in water and environmental systems. These pieces are added as time and interest permit.
Teaching & Mentorship
Graduate and undergraduate courses taught at Rutgers, selected educational materials, and broader mentorship through teaching, writing, and professional engagement.
Facilities
A brief summary of laboratory and instructional facilities that have supported teaching, experimentation, and selected research activities in water resources and environmental systems.
Publications & Reports
A curated collection of peer-reviewed papers, technical reports, invited presentations, grey literature, and selected public-facing writing. This section serves as a broader repository than conventional academic indexes.
